Terms & Conditions
These terms are an agreement between you and NoteWav AI Software Solution ("we", "us"), run by Sandun Deshapriya, Home-based business (not registered), Sri Lanka, at B.P. Kanda, Maharachchimulla, Alawwa 60286, Sri Lanka. By using our services at https://notewav.lk or paying for it, you accept these terms.
1. The services
NoteWav AI Software Solution builds and sells AI software and online services for Sinhala-speaking users. Our first product is Sub Cut, which makes Sinhala subtitles from a video or audio file. More apps are on the way. Our products are digital: you pay online and use them straight away.
Results made by AI (for example the captions in Sub Cut) are made automatically. They can contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking them before you use or publish them.
2. Your account
- You must give correct information and keep your sign-in details private.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian to use the service.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Plans, prices and payment
- Prices of our products are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) on the page.
- Prices may change from time to time. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, and a change does not affect packs you have already paid for.
- Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when PayHere confirms the payment and the credits appear in your account. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example if we suspect fraud) and return the full amount.
- Payments are processed by PayHere, a Sri Lankan online payment gateway. Your card details are entered on PayHere's secure page. We do not see, collect or store your card number.
- Digital service. It is available in your account straight after payment.
- In Sub Cut, credits pay for subtitles: 1 credit is 1 minute of audio (a part of a minute counts as a whole one). Credits never expire. If a job fails, its credits are returned to your account.
- If you delete your account, the credits left in it are lost.
- Refunds and cancellations are described in the Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
4. What you may and may not do
- Only upload files, videos and audio that you own or have the right to use. Do not upload other people's copyrighted content without permission.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, threatening, or that invades someone's privacy.
- Do not try to break, overload or misuse the service, or to use it to harm others.
- We may stop your access if you break these rules.
5. Your content and our rights
The files you upload and what our apps make from them (for example your videos, audio and subtitles) remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle them.
Our software, apps (including Sub Cut), design, names and logos belong to NoteWav AI Software Solution. You may not copy, resell or take them apart to copy how they work.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or stop parts of the service, and we may change these terms. When we change them we will update the date above. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
7. Limits of our responsibility
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from mistakes in automatic captions, from interruptions, or from content you publish. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
8. Ending your use
You may stop using the service at any time. You may ask us to delete your account by writing to info@notewav.lk.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. The courts of Sri Lanka decide any dispute about them.
